How you can help
Remember us in your will
How you would like us to use your legacy?
Bequests can be given to the Foundation on the basis that the gift will be used for whichever project or activity is believed to be the most beneficial at the time or for a specific type of work. These are called unrestricted or unspecified bequests.
For example, a bequestor made a significant bequest many years before we had anticipated the need for the Asthma Foundation of Tasmania’s Schools program. Her bequest helped to create our most ambitious and, we believe, one of our most beneficial programs.
A restricted bequest can be stated for a specific purpose. If you wish to leave a bequest for a specific purpose we ask that you contact us for assistance with determining whether the Foundation is able to accommodate and fulfil your specific wishes.
And remember, at the time you are considering making a bequest, there may be other exciting new projects being planned that need funding. So it is always a good idea to have a chat with us as we might have some interesting new works for you to consider.
Whatever your choice, we promise that we will use your gift so that it has the greatest impact for people affected by asthma in Tasmania.
