How you can help

Remember us in your will

Why give to us?

Asthma is the main reason our young Tasmanians go to hospital and visit doctors, and it is the number one reason that children miss school. It makes a huge impact on the lives of young people; making them ill and affecting their lives at home, school and play.

But children are not the only Tasmanians affected by asthma. Unfortunately, asthma doesn’t go away when you become an adult – it lasts a lifetime. Many people also get asthma when they become adults. And adult asthma is often more severe and frequent than childhood asthma.

Whichever way you look at it, asthma is a huge problem in Tasmania. We have a staggering total of 55,000 asthmatics living on this island. That’s a population almost twice the size of Devonport!

And that's why we need your help.
